Krishna heads the conceptual design functions of the practice.
Krishna is a gold medallist Architect from VNIT Graduate of 1983. Before forming K Studio in 2009, Krishna practiced at some of India’s leading architectural firms and Hotel operators.
She has over 35 years of experience in hotel design, hospital design, factory design, detailing and leading large internal and external project teams. Krishna co-ordinates multiple professionals and sub-consultants to create cohesive successful projects delivered on time and budget that translate into long-term commercial successes for clients. She brings calm leadership qualities, an eye for detail and construction experience to all projects.
Shalaka Dakshinkar

B Arch, MA in Interior Architecture (RISD, Rhode Island School of Design)
Shalaka heads the Retail and Residential Projects team in the practice. With her background of working with operator team she is actively involved with designing of all the upcoming hotel projects as well.
Shalaka joined the practice in 2016 with experience of working with large Hotel operators and architectural firms Internationally. With 10 years of experience in hospitality industry, retail design and project management, she brings system, creativity and innovation to projects.
