THE KONKAN CAFE

A traditional Nallukettu (courtyard) house with is conceptualized as the theme for this speciality restaurant. All elements used in the design have regional context. The restaurant does not have an outdoor space; however, the central seating area is treated with special lighting effects to emulate night sky. Konkan region was famous for leather puppet art in early 19th century, later these artizens migrated to Kerala and Andhra and called as Tholpava. We have created huge Konkan scape artwork with punched back lit sheep leather which is one of the point of attraction in restaurant where guest like to pick up selfies.

A turn key assignment that was executed in a running hotel in record time of 75 days and in budget.
